Privacy Policy

No data protection officer has been appointed, because the statutory requirements for appointing one (Art. 37 GDPR, § 38 BDSG) are not met.

This website does not use analytics, marketing or tracking services and does not set cookies for those purposes. No third-party content (for example fonts, videos, maps or social-media plugins) is embedded; fonts are delivered locally.

The website is operated on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. A contract for processing on behalf of the controller pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.

When the website is accessed, the web server logs technical access data: IP address, date and time, requested URL, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser/user agent. The application additionally writes technical error logs.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website and the detection and prevention of attacks. The logs are rotated daily and are generally deleted after 14 days, unless they are needed for longer in an individual case to investigate a security incident.

The website also counts the total number of page views. No personal data is stored for that count.

Only technically necessary cookies are set: a session cookie (name: doppelz_software_session) and a security cookie that protects forms (XSRF-TOKEN), each with a lifetime of 2 hours. Your light/dark mode setting is stored in your browser's local storage and is not transmitted to us.

This storage is strictly necessary for the service you have expressly requested (§ 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG); consent is not required for it. The subsequent processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process your details (name, email address, message and, for the contact form, the selected project type) in order to handle your enquiry. Form enquiries are stored in the database of this website. We are notified by email, via the Resend service, when a new enquiry arrives; the content of the enquiry is not transmitted in that notification.

We use Zoho Mail for our email mailbox (Zoho Corporation B.V., Beneluxlaan 4B, 3527 HT Utrecht, Netherlands); the mailbox is operated in a data centre in the EU.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

Form enquiries are deleted once they have been dealt with, and in any event automatically 12 months after they were last processed. Business emails that are subject to statutory retention duties (for example § 147 AO, § 257 HGB) are kept for the duration of those duties.

If you subscribe to notifications about new blog posts, we use double opt-in: the subscription takes effect only after you confirm it via the link in the confirmation email. We store your email address, the language you selected, and the time of subscription and confirmation so that we can demonstrate consent.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, in particular via the unsubscribe link in every email. Unconfirmed subscriptions are deleted automatically after 10 days; after you unsubscribe, your email address is deleted.

We send confirmation and notification emails via Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). The email address, message content and technical delivery data are processed in that context. A contract for processing on behalf of the controller is in place with Resend; the transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR).

This website contains simple links to LinkedIn, GitHub and X. No plugins of those services are embedded; data is transferred only when you click a link and open the respective page. The privacy policy of the respective provider then applies.

To protect against data loss, we regularly create backups of the database and the website files. The backups are stored on the server of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. All backups from the last 5 days are kept, then one backup per day for 10 days, one per week for 4 weeks, one per month for 6 months and one per year for 2 years. The most recent backup is never deleted. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). The simplest way to make a request is to email info@azizgasim.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart.

Automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR), does not take place.
